Danube Art Master 2009 - International Art Competition
To take part, arrange for your school to make an excursion to a Danube river before the end of June 2009. The only neccessary ingredients for this art competition are creativity and inspiration!
The idea is for students aged from 10 to 15 to get inspired by what they see and use materials found by the river to create works of art. This could mean sculptures, mosaics or collages made from material such as driftwood, stones, rushes, mud or even rubbish - from all what the Danube and its tributaries bring along!
The competiton will be offered in each of the 14 Danube countries. The respective winners will represent their country in the international final round in autumn 2009. Last year the prize went to Slovakia.
Show river solidarity! Get inspired by the awesome Danube to sculpt, create and win!
The Danube Art Master is one of the many events and activities around the Danube Day, which is celebrated annually on June 29th.
